The popular, but distasteful "yellow filter" used on Mexico in TV and film reminded us of looking through a bottle of Corona, the iconically yellow beer.
We decided the yellow filter was better left to Corona.
So we worked with Mexican born, Oscar-winning cinematographer Chivo Lubezki to reshoot Mexico without the yellow filter. We turned it into a plea to Hollywood to stop using the filter. The ad aired during Oscars night and was followed by an OOH and social campaign
